Yamaha RD250E - DVE 483V

Full Restoration

This 1979 Yamaha RD250E has had many restorations to produce a bike that could be described as in "almost new condition" in fact for the last 6 years has been my show bike so people can judge the standard of my work

This bike is on my blog twice, but this is its final restoration before being sold through KGF Classic Cars, as per last few photos

September 2014 and a finished bike back to it's original colour

This is how the bike was at the start

Front down pipes polished and re-chromed

Forks ground back and re-hard chromed, with the bottoms finished in the original satin swirl effect and not polished

Allen bolts on the engine

When the bike arrived it was white on the V5 and I changed it to blue to keep the paintwork as
it was. Final change to bike will now be back the the original white and red paintwork

Both wheels stripped, polished and repainted Red

Brand new tyres fitted front and rear

Red front wheel and original finished fork legs

Stainless domed nuts fitted where possible

Still very low mileage for a 1979 bike

Finished in it's original colours
